V-387 Bright Red (Pint)

Quantity Details : Pint (472 ml)

Bright Red Velvet Underglaze is a deep crimson color that is vivid at cone 05, darkens slightly at cone 5, and becomes a deep cherry red at cone 10. A clear glaze accentuates the underglaze significantly at any temperature.

For Bright Red Velvet Underglaze, we recommend using HF-10 Clear. HF-9 Zinc-Free Clear is recommended for use with underglazes to reduce the incidence of color shift. Most underglazes, stains, and coloring oxides will show their best color with Zinc-Free Clear.

Due to variations in raw materials used during manufacturing, we recommend firing glazed test tiles before using each new batch number of glaze.

Safety warning:

Tableware producers must test all finished ware to ensure that it is food safe, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.
