Mid Fire

There are two kinds of mid fire clay - stoneware and porcelain, that mature anywhere between Cone 4 and 7. When fired, these clay bodies denser, harder and heavier than earthenware, and hence are ideal for making food safe, functional tableware. This type of clay is also cost effective as they require a shorter firing time and the results are far more durable and stronger than low fire clay bodies.
