PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

It is an opaque, semi-matte blueish green glaze. 

This glaze has a micro crystals all over the surface.

Application Instructions:

  1. Wash your articles a day prior to your glaze application day.
  2. Keep the washed articles covered.
  3. Let the articles be dry when you decide to glaze.
  4. Dip/Pour/Spray the glaze.
  5. This being a speciality glaze; Thick and thin application, iron content in your clay body, porosity of the clay, will give you a varying results, so do an application test.

1) Specific gravity of a mixed glaze should be maintain between 1.30-1.40 for consistent results

1.a) For Ivory 1.30-1.35 SG

1.b) For Sandalwood and Coffee Brown 1.37-1.40 SG

2) Recommended dipping time for different clay bodies, (If you are using Clay station clays)

  • For Ivory (Porosity at bisque - 15-17%) - 2 to 3 seconds 
  • For Sandalwood (Porosity at bisque - 12-13%) - 4 to 5 seconds

If other clay bodies are used, check with the Clay body bisque porosities to ensure the appropriate dipping time for the good results
