Our in-house premium Stoneware Translucent Porcelain Clay is specially formulated for both functional and decorative creations. It fires to a brilliant super-white finish and pairs beautifully with a wide range of Clay Station glazes as well as other commercial glazes.

When fired to Cone 6 (≈1223°C), this clay becomes translucent, allowing light to gently pass through — making it a perfect choice for lamp works and illuminated pieces.

Highly versatile and smooth in texture, it is ideal for wheel throwing, hand building, and sculpting, offering excellent plasticity and workability.

• Dry shrinkage is determined by measuring the reduction in shrinkage after the manufacturing stage to the bone-dried stage.

• Firing shrinkage is determined by measuring the reduction in shrinkage after the bone-dried stage to the final fired stage (Cone 6 or Cone 7)

• Absorption is also called as porosity of a clay body
