Extra preheating service charge

Product Information:

We offer kiln firing services across all ranges—low, mid-range, and high fire (cone 10 firings require a full kiln load).

Bisque and Direct High Fire (Bone-Dry High Fire):
A standard 2-hour preheat is included to help ensure the safety and integrity of your pieces. If your work is particularly thick or still wet, additional preheating may be necessary. This will be assessed by our firing team on a case-by-case basis.

Extra Preheat Charges:
Should your piece require additional preheating beyond the standard 2 hours, an hourly rate will be added to the standard bisque firing fee. This precaution helps prevent damage to both your piece and others in the kiln.

Guidelines:

You're welcome to deliver your pieces during our operational hours from Monday to Friday (10:30 am - 1:30 pm or 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm). 

It's your responsibility to clearly label and identify your pieces for firing.

Once your pieces have been fired, we kindly request that you pick them up within a span of five days. 

Note:

Kindly note that we require a minimum of ten days for the firing process. Rest assured, you'll receive a notification once your pieces have been fired.

If the fired pieces are not picked up within a span of seven days, please be aware that Claystation retains the right to dispose of the items.

Please be cautious to prevent damage to the kiln and kiln shelves caused by melting glaze or other materials, as any such damage will incur additional fees.
