It is a rustic black Semi matte glaze with Brownish Micro Crystals. It fits well on wide range of dark or light clay bodies. Doesn't drip or crawl when applied thin or thick.

Lead free and non toxic, ideal for functional ware.

More Info:

1) Recommended Specific Gravity 1.30- 1.35 

2) Recommended Dipping times of different clay bodies to get an expected texture

        * White body (Ivory) - 2-3 seconds

        * For Dark body (Sandalwood, Coffee brown & Volcanic Black) - 4 to 5 seconds

3) The color and feel of the glaze might vary from that in the picture as it is difficult to capture the same

4)The glazes have been tried and tested with different stoneware clay bodies.

5) Most of our glazes are food safe, unless specified otherwise

6) Our glaze cannot be brushed on pieces. We recommend dipping/ pouring/spraying techniques with these glazes.
