3) Recommended dipping time for different clay bodies, (If you are using Clay station clays)

  • For Ivory (Porosity at bisque - 15%-17%) - 1 to 2 seconds
  • For Sandalwood (Porosity at bisque -12% -13%) - 2 to 3 seconds
  • For Coffee brown (Porosity at bisque -12% -13%) - 2 to 3 seconds

If other clay bodies are used, check with the Clay body bisque porosities to ensure the appropriate dipping time for the good results.

4) Runny in nature, Maintain the Specific gravity and thickness of a glaze on the surface of the article to avoid running of glaze during firing

5) The color and feel of the glaze might vary from that in the picture as it is difficult to capture the same.

6) The glazes have been tried and tested on white stoneware clay bodies.

7) The samples in the pictures have gone through oxidation firing in SKUTT Electric Kilns at ^6 medium firing with hold for 30 minutes.

8) To avoid glaze running from the ware, Reduce the holding time or fire it without holding time or soaking time.

9) This glaze is lead free, non- toxic and food safe

10) Our glazes will not be in a liquid form to be brushed on the pieces. We recommend dipping/ pouring/spraying techniques with these glazes.
