Rustic, metallic glossy glaze, with red orange color finish.

It has the black speckles all over the area. Thin areas looks rustic and thick areas looks red.

Breaks in rustic brown color on white and dark bodies

More Info:

1) It is a breaking glaze, breaks into brown color wherever it is thin. 

2) Recommended specific gravity of a liquid glaze for White Canvas clay body is 1.30-1.35 to get the expected results. 

3) Recommended dipping time 

• For White Canvas (Porosity at bisque - 18%-20%) - 2 to 3 seconds 

If other clay bodies are used, check with the Clay body bisque porosities to ensure the appropriate dipping time for the good results.  

4) Maintain the Specific gravity and thickness of a glaze on the surface of the article to avoid running of glaze during firing

5) The color and feel of the glaze might vary from that in the picture as it is difficult to capture the same.

6) The glazes have been tried and tested on white and dark stoneware clay bodies.

7) The samples in the pictures have gone through oxidation firing in SKUTT Electric Kilns at ^10 medium firing 

8) This glaze is lead free, non- toxic and food safe

9) Our glazes will not be in a liquid form to be brushed on the pieces. We recommend dipping/ pouring/spraying techniques with these glazes

2)While mixing glazes in powder form, ensure usage of mask, to prevent inhalation of chemicals.
