Variegated glossy glaze, with an ocean blue color finish. 

It has cloudy blue texture all over the surface area on white bodies and has dark blue speckles on the dark bodies.

Breaks into light green on white body and dark blue on a dark body..

More Info:

1) It is a  variegated glaze, Breaks into different colors like blue, white and green

2) Recommended Specific gravity is 1.40- 1.45 to get an expected results.

3) Recommended Dipping times of different clay bodies to get an expected texture

        * White body (Ivory) - 1 to 2 seconds

        * For Dark body (Sandalwood & Coffee brown) - 2 to 3 seconds

        * For Volcanic Black (Porosity at bisque -12% -13%) - 2 to 3 seconds

4) Runny in nature, Maintain the Specific gravity and thickness of a glaze on the surface of the article to avoid run off from the ware

5) If the specific gravity is less than 1.4-1.35, It will turn to Dark blue texture 

6) The samples in the pictures have gone through oxidation firing in SKUTT Electric Kilns at ^6 medium firing with hold for 30 minutes.

7) The color and feel of the glaze might vary from that in the picture as it is difficult to capture the same.

8) The glazes have been tried and tested on stoneware clay bodies.

9) This glaze is lead free, non- toxic and food safe.

10) Our glazes will not be in a liquid form to be brushed on the pieces. We recommend dipping/ pouring/spraying techniques with these glazes

Note

Leave 2-3 mm from the article's bottom to avoid sticking of glaze to the kiln shelves 

Avoid thicker application of glaze on Ivory to avoid dripping of glaze (Try with test pieces to understand the glaze thickness and dipping time of glaze)

Articles having handles might cause the glaze run off from the ware. Remove excess glaze from the handle areas  after dipping to avoid running  

* Cone 6 firing without holding time also eleminate the dripping of Glaze
