Glaze Firing Services Full Kiln - Nabertherm Top 80

We provide a range of firing services for various temperature levels: low, mid-range, and high-range (cone 10 - exclusively for full kiln) in our electric kiln.

Guidelines:

You're welcome to deliver your pieces during our operational hours from Monday to Friday (10:30 am - 1:30 pm or 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm). 

It's your responsibility to clearly label and identify your pieces for firing.

Our studio typically glaze fires at Cone 6 (1220 C). The firing charges are for Cone 6 firing. This may include a small hold, depending on your request. We use Ramp suggested by the Kiln Supplier.

Please consult the studio for different Cone or specific ramp. Additional fees will be incurred for longer holds or cone's higher than Cone 6.

Once your pieces have been fired, we kindly request that you pick them up within a span of five days. 

Glaze Drip:

Clean any excess glaze from the bottoms and edges of your pieces before firing to prevent drips onto kiln shelves.

If you anticipate glaze drips from your pieces, please bring your own glaze cookies or clay slabs to protect the kiln shelves.

Any damage to the kiln and kiln shelves caused by melting glaze or other materials will incur additional fees. Please ensure proper application to avoid these issues.

Note:

Kindly note that we require a minimum of ten days for the firing process. Rest assured, you'll receive a notification once your pieces have been fired.

If the fired pieces are not picked up within a span of seven days, please be aware that Claystation retains the right to dispose of the items.
