More Info:

1) It is a breaking glaze, breaks into brown color wherever it is thin. 

2) Recommended specific gravity of a liquid glaze for Ivory clay is 1.35-1.40 to get the expected results. 

 2.a) Recommended specific gravity of a liquid glaze for sandalwood & Coffee brown clay is 1.45 to get the expected results. 

3) Recommended dipping time for different clay bodies, (If you are using Clay station clays)

  • For Ivory (Porosity at bisque - 15%-17%) - 2 to 3 seconds 
  • For Sandalwood (Porosity at bisque -12% -13%) - 4 to 5 seconds
  • For Coffee brown (Porosity at bisque -12% -13%) - 4 to 5 seconds
  • For Volcanic Black (Porosity at bisque -12% -13%) - 4 to 5 seconds
